PHP in templates is so last decade
The only thing that is constant is change.
The txp:tag domains were born with the purpose of documenting the elegant template tags of Textpattern CMS. There existed the Tag Reference wiki pages, but something lighter than MediaWiki was in the plans. Using Textpattern to document itself seemed like the logical choice, TXP Tags was the final product.
That was 5 years ago. Then 4 years ago I took a break from it all, walked away for a spell. Can’t point to a specific, let’s just say I got tired of pushing uphill.
In June of this year, a renewed interest in Themes on the forums brought me back. Spent the month of July acclimating myself to the here and now. It was time to focus on Themes anew, then lightning struck, I came upon Bootstrap.
During my hiatus, I had missed the whole framework hype train, it all hit me like a ton of bricks. One thing led to another, and TXP Themes was launched with 12 mobile-friendly responsive Themes for your Textpattern sites.
This site has transitioned from a Themes site to a laboratory, an incubator of ideas, a classroom full of epiphanies.
Stay tuned, hair raising is in the plans.
