PHP in templates is so last decade
Come one, come all, step right up.
This morning, I got up and started doing keyword searches on Google. One of the most interesting search results page I came upon, was when I searched for TXP Planet. That search yielded this gem of a link: TextGarden – TextPattern Themes, a Textpattern forum post by a new user named WebmistressM.
That forum thread illustrated to me, that a) Destry doesn’t like anything I’ve ever done for his community, and b) what I do for the Textpattern community is for people like maverick, the user who came to my aid. That forum post was over 5 years ago, yet today, the Textpattern Themes site has but 2 themes.
When user WebmistressM was making her post, I had already finalized my work on the 12 Bootstrap Themes that were previously hosted on this domain, and was in the process of moving them to TXP Themes.
TXP Themes is still leading in the number of themes dept, and I’ve been fishing, binge-watching, waiting till noon to pop a cold one, you know, retired.
Now that I’m back, it’s time to take this to a different level, it’s time to plead with Rosie to move out of the way and let the new home page through.
Monsieur Destry – Happy trails to you, ‘till we meet again.
I’ve paid my dues
Time after time
I’ve done my sentence
But committed no crime
And bad mistakes
I’ve made a few
I’ve had my share of sand kicked in my face
But I’ve come through
(And I need to go on and on, and on, and on)
